You’re in Vegas. You’ve seen the fountains, maybe lost $40 at blackjack, and now you’re thinking… Cirque du Soleil, right?
But here’s the problem: there are 5 shows. They all have glowing reviews. They all look amazing. And you’re not here forever.
So — which one actually deserves your time (and money)?
We live here, and we’ve seen them all. So here’s the no-BS, 2025 local’s guide to picking the best Cirque show for your trip.
This is where us locals book our own tickets for shows here in Vegas:
"O" at Bellagio
The Timeless Classic (Still Worth It in 2025)
Best for: Couples, dreamers, first-time visitors
Water, acrobats, pure magic. “O” is Cirque’s most poetic show — and yes, it still holds up after 20+ years. It’s the one that makes people say: “Only in Vegas.”
But be warned: it's slow-paced at times. If you're a thrill junkie, keep reading.
Ticket Prices: From ~$79 + fees
Age Restriction: Ages 5+ only (strictly enforced)
Smart Traveler Tip: Sit in the "Golden Circle" center section, rows D–H for the ultimate immersion. Avoid the splash zone unless you’re into soggy shoes.
KA at MGM Grand
The One with a Freakin’ Moving Stage
Best for: Action lovers, teenagers, “seen it all” travelers
This is Cirque meets Game of Thrones, minus the dragons (but just as much drama). An epic cinematic battle with a huge rotating stage, martial arts fights, and a storyline you can actually follow (kind of). We call this the “cinematic Cirque.”
Ticket Prices: From ~$79 + fees
Age Restriction: Ages 5+
Smart Traveler Tip: Avoid far side seats – you’ll miss a lot of the stage mechanics. Go for the middle 10–15 rows (sections 102–104). Don’t show up late or you’ll miss the epic intro.
The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage
Closed in 2024
Let’s clear this up now. You’ll still see blogs and YouTube videos raving about LOVE.
But… our beloved Mirage is gone. As of 2024, so is this show. Don’t waste time.
Smart Traveler Tip: If a Vegas blog or an Instagram influencer say to “book LOVE” — stop reading. It’s outdated.
Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay
The Most Electrifying One
Best for: MJ fans, music lovers, high-energy travelers
Even if you’re only 20% into MJ, this show will give you chills. The soundtrack, the dancing, the visuals – it’s a sensory overload in the best way.
This is the most explosive show Cirque has ever done. Killer dancing, wild visuals, perfect pacing. It’s like a music video concert… with acrobats flying over your head.
Don’t bring toddlers. Do bring energy.
Ticket Prices: From $69, average $132–$160, up to $266 depending on seat and day
Age Restriction: Ages 5+ only
Smart Traveler Tip: Rows L–P in the center orchestra give the best view of the LED floor effects. Avoid front rows – you’ll miss the bigger picture.
Mad Apple at New York New York
Not your Typical Cirque du Soleil Show
Best for: Comedy fans, nightlife energy, repeat Vegas visitors
Mad Apple is Cirque’s new hybrid: stand-up comedy + NYC vibes + circus. It’s not for everyone, but it is hilarious.
Skip it if this is your only night out — go for something more epic. But if you’ve already done “O” or “Ka,” this is a solid twist.
Ticket Prices: From $49 + fees
Age Restriction: Ages 16+ only (for adult humor and style)
Smart Traveler Tip: This show has more of a club vibe – seats closer to the stage are great, but anything near center works. Bonus: the cocktails here are actually worth it.
Mystère at Treasure Island
The Original, Must See Cirque Du Soleil Show
Best for: Action lovers, dreamers, first-time visitors
The original. The legend. The longest-running Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas – and still the wildest ride.
Expect pounding drums, muscle-bending feats, and clowns that are surprisingly not cringe.
It’s chaotic, tribal, fun – and way more intense than you think.
Ticket Prices: $69–$77 and up
Age Restriction: All ages welcome (but under 1 not recommended)
Smart Traveler Tip: Center orchestra, rows F–K, are the sweet spot. This theater is more intimate, so even balcony seats aren’t a dealbreaker.
Whether you're a Cirque first-timer or a longtime fan, these shows deliver next-level Vegas energy.
Let’s get one thing straight: if you're coming to Las Vegas and skipping Cirque du Soleil, you're doing it wrong.
These shows aren’t just performances – they’re bucket-list-level spectacles.
And with five permanent productions in town for 2025, it’s time to pick your Cirque wisely – and smartly.
Just don’t wait too long to book – smart travelers plan early, and seats sell fast (especially for "O").
